A team from Cedarville University successfully completed a launch and recovery as part of the HALO II project. The launch took place in a park in Eaton, OH (near the Ohio-Indiana boarder). The balloon peaked at around 84,000 feet and landed in the tops of the trees in a woods about 10 miles east of Greenfield, OH. A very friendly farmer helped us recover our equipment by cutting down two trees in which the pods were entangled.
