I am an undergraduate student at Wichita State University and I am part of our first near space launch team. We have a StratoSAT launch kit and system by StratoStar Systems and are having some difficulties finding answers to some minor details the manual may have skipped. If you have one of these systems/kits please let me know in hopes that you maybe able to answer some questions or have advice.
We've been flying a StratoStar system for 3+ years (41 flights so far). I'd be happy to answer any questions that you have. I know that StratoStar has made some changes to their system, but the basics are the same.
Of course, I am also confident that Jason Krueger can answer any question.
It might be informative to carry the discussion on the nearspacenetwork.com site, but I'm easier to reach at my own e-mail:
hlbrooks@depauw.edu
I'll try to check the site, but if you don't hear from me, please contact directly.
StratoStar's system is very reliable, it even worked for us when we flew it upside down :)
