Stabilizing the balloon on a windy day

Saturday October 24 was a windy day at the Mt. Vernon, IL Airport launch site for USI's third high altitude balloon flight.

Students and professors had a challenging time keeping the balloon stable during the helium fill process.

Launch occurred on time at 11 a.m. CDT with burst at 90000 feet and landing in eastern Daviess County, IN.
